Rev. David W. Griesemer, Senior Pastor Pastor David has served as Landover Hills Baptist's pastor since February of 2003. Landover Hills Baptist church is a multi-cultural and multi-generational church located inside the Washington DC Beltway. He and Sandra live in the Landover Hills Maryland area. He and Sandra have three wonderful daughters and son-in-laws in Missouri, Alabama and Hawaii that have blessed them with six grandchildren. Previously having work for the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association and Luis Palau Evangelistic Association as a Crusade Director. He received his Bachelor of Science undergraduate degree in Pastoral Ministry with a minor in Counseling. He earned a Master of Divinity Degree in Pastoral / Theology from Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in May 2008. He has served three terms on the General Mission Board of the Maryland and Delaware Baptist State Convention and served as Chairman of the Strengthening Grants Church Committee for the State Convention, currently serves as member of the Prince George Baptist Association ACTS 1:8 Mission Team, as well as previously served on the Committee of Committees for the Southern Baptist Convention in 2007. ![]() Bonnie Draper Youth Director She grew up being involved in church. As a young child learned the Bible stories and songs but it wasn’t till she was 13 years old when she accepted Christ as her personal Savior and baptized in the South River. She realized you can have the knowledge but you need to have the personal daily relationship with the Lord. As a teenager she knew God wanted her to be a nurse and after high school attended Fort Wayne Bible College and got her BS degree in Missionary Nursing. She worked in Haiti with OMS International and later did volunteer work in West Africa. After, returning to the states she worked in pediatric nursing for 18 years and presently does hospice nursing. She has been working with children and teenagers at Landover Hills Baptist Church since the early 80’s. She prays that God will use her to lead others to Christ. Guiding children and youth to see the importance of discipleship, evangelism, fun, leadership and service to their Lord and Savior.
Rachel Johnson Ministry Assistant Rachel Johnson accepted Christ as her personal savior in 1996 while attending here at Landover Hills Baptist Church. She has been a member since that time. Rachel and her husband reside in Bladensburg, Maryland with their two children , Jessica and Justin. After a 20 year career in banking, Rachel became an at home mom, occasionally working part time with the Boys and Girls Club, and the Girl Scouts in summer camp programs. Rachel has served in several ministires at LHBC, including Church Clerk for the past five years.
